Barrel racing event to benefit Angel Tree

A "Run for the Angels" benefit for Tommy’s Angel Tree is this Saturday, Dec. 1, at Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church, 2731 South FM Road 129 off U.S. Highway 281 South (take the Brazos Community turn off).

This is an open 5D barrel racing event and the entry fee is one new and unwrapped toy or clothing for Tommy’s Angel Tree. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the races begin at 2 p.m. Exhibitions will take place beginning at 10 a.m.

There will be a silent auction, including a new saddle, and race winners can win a saddle, buckles or other prizes.
