Joe is a cute, full-blooded cocker spaniel, estimated to be about 3 years old. He resembles a piece of three-toned – beige, tan and brown – shag carpet. Like the lyrics to songs singer Joe Cocker is known for, Joe the cocker spaniel is “so beautiful,” but “needs a little help from his friends.”
Like Joe’s namesake, cocker spaniels originated in England. They specialize in hunting woodcocks – both in England and later in America. The breed has been extremely popular in both countries and has a sturdy, compact body. Joe has wavy coat and seems to be a merry, well-balanced dog, but needs some TLC and would make a great companion for an adult or family with older kids.
Don’t wait to send him a “letter,” call (940) 328-7752 or take a fast train to the Mineral Wells Animal Shelter to adopt Joe. The cost of adoption includes neutering and a rabies shot.
