Arrests
• Elizabeth Maxine Ballard, 41, of Mingus, was arrested Friday on a warrant for theft by check greater than or equal to $20 and less than $500.

• Belinda Marcia Cosby, 46, of Graford, was arrested Friday on a failure to appear warrant for theft of property greater than or equal to $50 and less than $500.

• Ruby Gail Couch, 29, of Ingram, was arrested Sunday on a San Saba County warrant for driving while license invalid.

• Rodrigo Estrada Jr., 19, of Dallas, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

• Josie Lynn Gillum, 17, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Oct. 11 on two warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia, a warrant for possession of alcohol by a minor and a failure to appear warrant for possession of alcohol by a minor.

• Christopher Michael Greenleaf, 26, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Tuesday on a Dallas County warrant for theft of property less than $1,500 – second or more previous conviction.

• Jerry Don Hatley, 41, of Graford, was arrested Friday on a motion to revoke probation warrant for driving while intoxicated.

• Fabian Sebastian Heath, 36, of Augustine, Fla., was arrested Saturday on a Dallas County warrant for theft of service greater than or equal to $500 and less than $1,500.

• Travis Bernard Hickman, 40, of Perrin, was arrested Sunday for public intoxication.

• Dennis Lynn James, 29, of Palo Pinto, was arrested Sunday for public intoxication.

• Stephanie Ann Lay, 28, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Saturday on a motion to revoke warrant for criminal nonsupport.

• Randy Bob Leek, 46, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Sunday for boating while intoxicated.

• James Daniel Lopez, 43, of Lone Camp, was arrested Oct. 11 for public intoxication.

• Kim Cathleen Mackey, 39, of McKinney, was arrested Saturday on a warrant for theft by check greater than or equal to $20 and less than $500.

• Shawn David Massie, 36, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Friday on a failure to appear warrant for theft greater than or equal to $50 and less than $500 and a felony violation of probation warrant.

• Archie Fay McMath, 53, of Portales, N.M., was arrested Oct. 10 on a warrant for driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.

• Jerry Lavell Neagle, 52, of Fort Worth, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for no or expired inspection sticker.

• Nicholaus Eugene Peterson, 27, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Oct. 11 on a capias pro fine warrant for theft by check greater than or equal to $20 and less than $500.

• Carolyn Ann Reid, 37, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for theft by check less than $20 and a failure to appear warrant for theft by check greater than or equal to $20 and less than $500.

• Zachary Taylor Sanders, 22, of Breckenridge, was arrested Saturday on a warrant for speeding 80 mph in a 65 mph zone, a warrant for no liability insurance and a miscellaneous Class C warrant.

• Keith Allen Stevens, 47, of Tucson, Ariz., was arrested Friday for driving while intoxicated.

• Nicole Marie Terry, 32, of Weatherford, was arrested Friday on a Parker County warrant for theft greater than or equal to $1,500 and less than $20,000.

• Michael Wesley Turner, 32, of Euless, was arrested Monday on a failure to appear warrant for theft by check greater than or equal to $20 and less than $500.

  • Man, woman arrested in drug bust at local bar

    Gary Ross Nickols, 56, of Mineral Wells, and Elise Nichole Dalton, 25, of Millsap, were arrested Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. at a bar in the 1600 block of South Oak after Mineral Wells police assisted the City-County Narcotics Unit, reportedly acting on information obtained by CCNU.

    Before Mineral Wells ISD's trustees were ready to vote Tuesday on the district's 2011 budget and tax rate, Board President Joe Ruelas repeatedly asked a room full of mostly empty chairs, “Does anybody in the public have any questions ... anyone?”

  • Man involved in bar fight ends up at hospital

    A man was transported to the hospital after a fight at a bar in the 2800 block of U.S. Highway 281 South around midnight Sunday, according to police, who provided backup to the Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Office on the call.
