Suddenlink Communications announced last week it is increasing speeds for the company’s most popular residential high-speed Internet packages in Gainesville, Mineral Wells, Oak Ridge, Sadler and Whitesboro at no added charge for its customers.
These speeds will be immediately available to new and existing customers. Existing customers do not need to contact Suddenlink to get the faster speeds.
With these news speeds, Suddenlink Internet service speeds will be among the fastest residential services in the area.

Suddenlink’s Premier Internet service has doubled its download speed and is now moving up to 10 megabits per second (mbps) from 5 mbps; Preferred Internet service is now moving up to 8 mbps from 4 mbps; and Value Internet service speed continues to be offered at 1 mbps.
Each service includes access to e-mail via WebMail, personal WebSpace and Spam Blocker. Premier and Preferred Internet services include a security suite with parental controls, anti-spyware, anti-virus, firewall and pop-up blocker at no additional cost.
