Reward offered for burglary info


Mineral Wells police investigators have issued a Crime Stoppers alert for the recent burglary of a local business.

Officials with the Mineral Wells Police Department said Exterran, located in the 100 block of S.E. 1st Street, was burglarized Friday with office equipment valued at $1,316 reported stolen.

The office equipment was reportedly last seen on June 17 and noticed missing on Friday.

The Mineral Wells Police Department is offering a reward through Crime Stoppers for anyone with information about the recent theft. If you have information regarding the theft, call the MWPD at (940) 328-7770 or Crime Stoppers at (940) 659-9904. Individuals providing information leading to an arrest and indictment are eligible for a reward up to $1,000

Burglaries

• 600 block of S.E. 13th Avenue – A residence was reported burglarized Sunday with entry reportedly made by removing a window air conditioner unit. A 52-inch television, a cordless phone, cable box and two window air conditioner units were reported stolen. The total value of the reportedly stolen items is $1,554.

• 2500 block of Porter Lane – A 2000 Chevrolet sports utility vehicle was reported burglarized Saturday with entry made through an unlocked door. A global positioning system valued at $200, a pair of sunglasses and loose change was reported stolen.

Arrests
The Mineral Wells Police Department reported making the following arrests:

• Matthew Albert Allen, 20, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Friday for no driver’s license, no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Janet Lynn Hitchcock, 44, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Monday for no insurance, expired driver’s license, expired inspection, defective equipment, obstructing front windshield and expired registration.

• Jose Montalvo, 37, of Dallas, was arrested Monday on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold.

• William Randall Motley, 43, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Saturday for no insurance and improper turn.

• Christopher Lee Pruett, 29, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Sunday for assault-family violence.

• Luis Miguel Ramirez, 24, of Dallas, was arrested Monday for no driver’s license, no insurance and an ICE hold.

• Jose Misael Rodriguez, 37, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Saturday for no driver’s license, no insurance and an ICE hold.

• Michael James Smith IV, 17, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Friday for disorderly conduct.

• Kurt Rollin Wigington, 22, of Jacksboro, was arrested Friday on six MWPD traffic warrants.
