The Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Department has issued a Wise Eyes alert concerning a recent increase in trailer thefts throughout Palo Pinto County and surrounding areas. Most of the trailers were stolen from oilfield sites.
Stolen within the last month:
• An 8-foot by 24-foot gooseneck flatbed trailer stolen from Davis Road.
• A 2005 Black gooseneck flatbed trailer, license 17YLWN, stolen from FM 1821 north of Mineral Wells
• A black 6-foot by 8-foot utility trailer with tilt bed, license 86YPLW, stolen from Village Bend Road.
• A black 32-foot dual-wheel gooseneck dovetail trailer, license 43XHWF, stolen from U.S. Highway 254 near Graford.
• A black TEXNEX 32-foot gooseneck flatbed, license CMMM74, stolen from U.S. Highway 180 West near Brad.

PET OF THE WEEK: Catahoula mix looking for a new place to call home
“Capt. Jack” is a short hair, mixed-breed dog – mostly Catahoula leopard – with an intriguing red merle-patterned coat. This approximately 2-year-old, 55-pound male also has one blue eye and one brown eye. He will need to be fixed as part of his adoption.

Driver killed in rollover wreck
