By CHRIS AGEE | cagee@mineralwellsindex.com

POSSUM KINGDOM – According to officials, Jerry Jess Ragle, 29, of Graford, died Tuesday evening after falling from a personal water craft he was operating near his home.

Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Office reports indicate authorities reported to the scene, near Robinson Lane, around 8:50 p.m.

Brazos River Authority spokesperson Judi Pierce said Ragle was riding the vehicle in a slough area of the river as his wife and two other witnesses were watching from the shoreline. She said initial reports indicate he was not wearing a life jacket.
