Checks are still coming in for the 2012 Hope Gala, which took place Nov. 10.
Hope Inc. Executive Director Lisa Huffaker said she estimates they have reached $30,000 raised for the organization that provides domestic abuse programs and services including a 24-hour hotline and regional women’s shelter.
“I’m happy about how many people we had show up – we had a great turnout,” Huffaker said of the gala.
Additionally, Huffaker said people loved the Crawfish Band, and many commented on the good food at Holiday Hills Country Club, especially the vegetables. Donors and purchasers for the live and silent auction and individuals who bought tickets helped make the event a success.
