WEATHERFORD — Growing up in Mineral Wells, Kim Benge has lived around the Weatherford and Parker County area for most of her life.
Moving to Mineral Wells at the age of 5, Benge stayed there all her life. Later, her family, husband Brian and two sons, Ryan and Ross, resided in the city until 2011.
“My family owned and operated a furniture store in Mineral Wells, which they started in 1969, and my husband and I took over in 1994,” she said. “The town began changing and we felt it was time to move on.”
In 2009, she started her own business, KA Wedding and Events, where she operated as an event planner.
