Pruitt to speak at MW Heritage Club meeting
MINERAL WELLS — Doyle Pruitt will present stories of Mineral Wells at Thursday's meeting of the Mineral Wells Heritage Association.
A continuation of his last year's presentation, his stories will cover the Palo Pinto area from earliest historic times to the present.
Anyone interested in the colorful history of the area is encouraged to attend beginning at 7 p.m. Charlene Pruitt will provide refreshments.
The Mineral Wells Heritage Association meets for a program, fellowship, and refreshments the second Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Rock School Museum, 105 N.W. 5th Ave. Parking is at the side of the building and the entrance for the meetings is in the back.

Wilkins, Benge lead Rams to early lead at Ram Relays
Dillon Wilkins and Ross Benge both two gold medals in field events and the Mineral Wells 4x100-meter relay team ran away from the rest of the field Saturday morning and powered the Rams to an early lead in the overall team standings at the 2010 Ram Relays.

Dianna LaCarol Henry, 41, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Tuesday for assault causing bodily injury to a disabled person after she allegedly attacked and severely injured a 48-year-old disabled man.
