To kick off a new season of art, the Mineral Wells Art Association this evening will feature artist Katherine Gordon Rice addressing the steps involved in creating a painting.
Rice started painting when she was a child, studying from artists from an early age and further developing her skills at the University of Oklahoma. In her career, she has received numerous awards and today her work resides in many collections.
