Master gardener discusses ornamental grasses

Master gardener Helen Pemberton was assisted by Cindy Vaught in presenting a very informative PowerPoint program on ornamental grasses at the May Blue Bonnet Garden Club’s May meeting.

The presenters were very knowledgeable and answered numerous questions from the members about the grasses and their personal experience with many of them. This meeting was held in Lone Camp at the home of Betty Brazil with co-hostess Marlene Fritz. There were 17 ladies in attendance. Mary Lou Fairclo won the surprise gift. Willie Mae Hubbard’s name was drawn to receive the pot of ornamental grass that the master gardeners gave away.
