Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hunt wish to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashli Dawn Hunt, to Chase Allen Barham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Barham.
Grandparents to Ashli are Lorene Johnson and the late William Johnson, and the late Charles and Dovie Hunt. Grandparents to Chase are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barham and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Medlin.
Ashli is a 2008 graduate of Mineral Wells High School and has graduated from Weatherford College Cosmetology. She is employed by Smart Looks.
Chase is a 2005 graduate of Mineral Wells High School and is currently employed by Excel Machinery.
The couple plans a June 23rd wedding at The Barn of Willow Lake Gardens in Weatherford. Nathan Buchanan of the First Baptist Church will perform the outdoor ceremony.
After a honeymoon trip the couple plans to make their home in Mineral Wells.

Reflections on Neighborhood Watch and Solicitations
A couple of things happened that encouraged me to write this particular column. First of all, our neighborhood formed a Neighborhood Watch group. This is being encouraged by Chief of Police Dean Sullivan and supported by the Mineral Wells Police Department. As we have had one home invasion in our neighborhood (burglars broke in while the neighbors were asleep in bed), we really want to watch out for each other!
