Bethany Michelle Lamb, daughter of Sue Lamb and the late Glenn Lamb, and Jesse Olson, son of Dan and Kelly Olson, wish to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Grandparent of the bride is Doreen West-Boyd, of Mineral Wells. Grandparents of the groom are Kay and Richard Scibek, of Granbury, and Jerry and Debbie Hearrell, of Bridgeport.
Bethany is a 2007 graduate of Mineral Wells High School and has attended Weatherford College. Jesse is a 2004 graduate of Walnut Springs High School and a graduate of Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Agricultural Economics.
Bethany is currently employed by Gulf States Properties LLC as a property manager. Jesse is the assistant manager at Teskeys, in Weatherford.
The wedding will be a private ceremony in Weatherford on Nov. 17, 2012. The couple plans to reside in Weatherford.

Reflections on Neighborhood Watch and Solicitations
A couple of things happened that encouraged me to write this particular column. First of all, our neighborhood formed a Neighborhood Watch group. This is being encouraged by Chief of Police Dean Sullivan and supported by the Mineral Wells Police Department. As we have had one home invasion in our neighborhood (burglars broke in while the neighbors were asleep in bed), we really want to watch out for each other!
