Mineral Wells police Cpl. Caleb Randall leads a handcuffed Shawn Dwaine Allen, 21, of Lipan, to a patrol car after his arrest late Thursday morning outside a restaurant in the 100 block of S.W. 25th Avenue. Allen was charged with aggravated robbery for an incident just minutes earlier at a store in the 600 block of Farm-to-Market Road 1821 North in which Allen allegedly brandished a knife. In the background and assisting in the arrest is Precinct 5 Constable Gary Morris.

Using a description of a suspect and the getaway vehicle, Mineral Wells police were quickly able to find and arrest a man Thursday morning after he allegedly robbed a Mineral Wells store.
