Junior high students seek jammies donations
During the months of November and December, Mineral Wells Junior High will be participating in the Scholastic Book Club’s Fourth Annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive, benefitting the Pajama Program, a nonprofit organization that provides new pajamas and books to children in need – especially those living in group homes, shelters, foster care and orphanages. This year the program is targeting the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

District asks parents to use Angel Tree for gift requests
Mineral Wells ISD principals would like to let parents know that all schools are working with the Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department’s Tommy’s Angel Tree program and asking people to place all requests for help directly with this organization, instead of contacting each campus with requests.

MWISD schools closed this week
The Mineral Wells ISD will be closed this week, Nov. 19-23, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Classes will resume Monday, Nov. 26.
