MINERAL WELLS — Nola Nicks, left, Mineral Wells ISD school bus driver, was honored on July 30 at the MWISD Transportation Department Office as the 2010 MWISD School Bus Driver of the Year. The award is sponsored by the Property Casualty Alliance of Texas through Edwards Risk Management, North American Solutions. The award is based upon multiple driver attributes: leadership, attitude, perseverance, student and parent relations, and technical skills. Presenting the award to Nicks is Fred White, assistant transportation director for MWISD.
