  • Since this was a teacher Appreciation Breakfast, it was fitting to recognize the teachers, paraprofessionals and staff members for the second semester. The Student Council chose these individuals because they go out of their way to make Mineral Wells Junior High a better place to learn and grow. For the second semester the following were chosen: January – Leslie Holman, seventh grade teacher; Tammy Williams, eighth grade teacher; Regenia Cross, Paraaprofessional; and Norma Powell, staff. February – Chad Miller, seventh grade teacher; Linda Floyd, eighth grade teacher; Brenda Procter, paraprofessional; and Margarita Baker, staff. March – Robert Moreno,seventh grade teacher; Bill Cowan, eighth grade teacher; Brandye Sims, paraprofessional; and Carol Whitley, staff. April – Jacki Bandy, seventh grade teacher; Deborah Yates, eighth grade teacher; Stephanie Pappas, paraprofessional; and Sandra Napps, staff. Mineral Wells Junior students serve up Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

Mineral Wells Index

Every year the Mineral Wells Junior High Student Council honors the faculty and staff with a teacher Appreciation Breakfast.

Student councils served breakfast and entertained the teachers, staff, DSC administrators and school board members who were present.

This year there were approximately 72 people in attendance. The Student Council took those present on a trip to Hollywood where they found that they were “stars” in the eyes of their students. The students presented each teacher with a gift of appreciation.
