  • The 2012-13 Mineral Wells FFA officers spent some time this summer to spruce up and re-install the FFA sign on its foundation. Pictured from left are officers, including: juniors Morgan Coe and Taylor Wharton, senior Jessica Baeza, junior Cayler Banks (president), senior Paige Hayes and juniors Autumn West and Whitney Ratto. Faculty sponsor Laura Horner said the students will plant flowers below the sign this fall.

Mineral Wells FFA Stars shine bright this summer

Mineral Wells FFA officers are ready for a busy 2012-13 year, but it doesn’t seem like they took much of a break this summer.

Students and staff found the FFA sign in a storage closet at the end of the school year and got to work cleaning and repainting the backdrop along East Hubbard Street, just past O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. Once completed, they reinstalled the FFA welcome sign.

Also this summer members of the Mineral Wells FFA and supporters were busy racking up awards at the 84th annual Texas FFA Convention, held in July.
