MWHS choir members medal at competition

Nineteen members of the Mineral Wells High School Choir competed in eight events at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest. The choir competed in eight events, medaling in seven. All six soloists medaled, one madrigal medaled and the other received a second division rating. In total 15 medals were awarded – 13 gold and 2 silver.

Juniors Chip Procter and Marina Loredo earned a Silver Medal for their solo performances.

Sophomore Gabby Kindle, junior Courtney Havens, senior Layla Wood and senior Carley Hamilton earned gold medals.
