MWJH celebrates year's last awards assembly

On April 3, Mineral Wells Junior High School parents, friends, faculty and students celebrated the last awards assembly of this school year. The old gym was again filled with those who wanted to honor the students receiving honor roll recognition for the fourth six weeks.

MWJH Principal Jay Walsworth welcomed all those in attendance, stating how proud he was of our students.

There were 213 students eligible to be honored. Ninety-four were seventh graders. Of that number 41 were enrolled in Pre-AP classes. Twenty-one seventh graders made 95 and above.
