Facelift for junior high library

The Mineral Wells Junior High School Library has had a facelift and now has a new look.

Patricia Shewmake has been appointed the new library assistant after the retirement of Mina Bruner in January.

Students enjoy blogging on the computer about Lone Star Books. After blogging they receive a duck tape book marker. The students who go to the library have another challenge. Any student who reads eight books from the Top 40 Hits will be eligible to attend a pizza party after school before the year is over. The deadline for reading these books was May 4.
