Link Field Services Inc., of Mineral Wells, says its grand opening and ribbon cutting at its new facility will Nov. 18.
The company is in its new location on U.S. Highway 180 East in the former Johnson Brothers furniture building. Time for the grand opening ceremony is 4-6 p.m.Refreshments will be provided.
Forty state-of-the-art offices are housed within the facility, which will be occupied by 30 local employees serving as a base for more than 20 additional personnel working in South Texas. The building also features a conference and training space that will be available for public use.
Operations Manager Ken Russell looks to create local job opportunities with the added space, as well as increasing the scope of the company’s current business relationships.
“We’re growing at a rapid pace,” says Russell, “and look forward to having the additional facilities to meet our clients’ needs.”
A $1.2 million renovation of the building has been under way since May, led by a number of area contractors. Mineral Wells’ Arrow Air Conditioning, Extreme Internet, Bennett’s Office Supply, and Ground Custom Homes & Construction of Weatherford were among the contractors selected to participate. Also providing services are: Garcia Carpet Cleaning Service, Mike’s Construction, Richards Signs and Cranes, Santibanez Construction, Tarpley Electric, Thurman Custom Painting, The Shop on 180 and A Cut Above of Mineral Wells; B&G Carpets, Jonathan Snider Drywall, Lonestar Fire Sprinkler and McCalman Plumbing of Fort Worth; Parker County Cabinets, Quality Concrete and United Glass and Mirror of Weatherford; Josh Randall Construction of Perrin; Lon Ellis Welding of Poolville; MG Brick and Stone of Southlake; Mobile Blinds ‘n More of Graford; Morgan Supply and Development of Arlington; and Morrison Supply Company of Azle.
Link Field Services Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fort Belknap Electric Cooperative. The Mineral Wells office is home to the company’s survey division, which offers surveying and drafting services to major oil and gas companies statewide.
