First Financial Bank, N.A., Mineral Wells, last week announced the promotion of Christina Carter to retail officer and Kayla Hons to compliance officer.

Carter, a native of Mineral Wells and a graduate of Mineral Wells High School, worked for North Central Texas Workforce from 1999 until 2005 when she joined First Financial as a teller. She became a new accounts representative in January 2006 and was promoted to new accounts supervisor in July 2010. Carter is a graduate of Leadership Mineral Wells, is an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team member and is a member of Community Christian School PTF.
Hons graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a Master of Business Administration degree in Management. She joined First Financial Bank in 2007 as a new accounts representative, became a loan assistant in 2008 and then served as an executive loan assistant before becoming compliance manager in October 2011.
Hons is secretary of Zonta International-Mineral Wells Chapter, volunteers for Meals on Wheels and serves as an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team co-captain. She is a Leadership Mineral Wells graduate and was recognized as a First Financial Bank Shining Star award recipient in 2011.
