You Make My Day Award The faculty each six weeks chooses two students for the ‘You Make My Day Award.’ This award goes to students who go out of their way to make other people know that someone cares. This six weeks the awards go to Ashley Rodriquez (seventh grader) and Taysia Floods (eighth grader). Ashley’s teachers stated that she was a hard worker who always tries to do her best. She is always helpful to others, students and teachers alike. Taysia’s teachers loved her positive attitude. She comes to class with a smile on her face, and she is kind and consider to others. Mr. Walsworth presented Ashley Rodriquez’s brother the ‘You Make My Day’ Award in her absence. Taysia Floods was also absent.
