Fire crews extinguish the last remaining hotspots in a grass fire Thursday at Mineral Wells Junior High. The fire began south of the junior high buildings, in or near the red storage building and where MWISD Grounds Supervisor Thomas Gilbert said he found matches. A man who tried to help put out the fire, in the background, told Gilbert he saw a boy or young man walk from the field before he noticed the fire.
