Pipeline surveying business Link Field Services, of Mineral Wells, held a grand opening at its new facility on U.S. Highway 180 East on Nov. 18. The company invested $1.5 million in the former Johnson Brothers Furniture store as it added office space, a board room and high-tech meeting space. In attendance at the grand opening were Operations Manager Ken Russell and members of the board of Fort Belknap Electric Co-op, which owns Link Field Services. Also in attendance were Mineral Wells Mayor Mike Allen and City Manager Lance Howerton, local vendors, Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Beth Henary Watson and Chamber Ambassadors, who hosted the event.
