Shown is a torpedo sonar device, provided by a private citizen, as it is lowered into Possum Kingdom Lake to aid in last week’s search for Coppell teen Jacob Logan. The sonar late Thursday made the initial discovery of Logan, about 63 feet below the lake’s surface, that was then confirmed when rescue authorities sent down a ‘Sea Otter’ underwater imaging device. Divers then went down and recovered the teen’s body.
